any way to turn off the jaw during the roll?

Yep, assuming you mean Yaw. The setting is "Yaw into Roll".

After a few hours you will correct the yaw when rolling without thinking.

It'll be under Options/Controls/Flight Rotation/Yaw Into Roll. It's the 4th option down. I have it disabled on both PC and Xbox. One of the first settings I changed

Some people go to the pain and expense of wiring there's together, though others just try eating less rolls

The thing is, in my opinion this is actually very useful in supercruise to fine tune your approach....but infuriating while docking. I really don't know whether to disable it or not. :S

I realised in the options you can set it to activate only during low rolls. This, to me, is the best of both worlds, because I do have a use for it (minor course adjustments in supercruise).

Sorry, I think that's how it's worded in the options menu but in fact it means gentle rolls. So with this option on, gently pushing your stick left or right will result in yaw, while firmly pushing your stick will produce a roll.
