I'm not being sarcastic nor "ironic" when I say that's a very good lesson that we all should learn. The same goes about never buy pre-order games, it's a waste of money. When we buy those pre-order games and we are the first ones to play it, it's we, the chumps who overpaid for a game, the ones that are paying the publisher and developers to work as beta testers because new released games are bugged, incomplete, crashing, not adapted for "x" and so on. Not to mention that then we have to pay for the future and innevitable (if the game is succesful) DLCs that add more to the bill.
Since making the terrible decision of pre-ordering Fallout 4, I've adopted the strategy of only buying games 3 or 4 years old once the "Complete", "GOTY" or "Legendary" editions are out that include the fixed base game, all the DLC, the experience and opinion of other players and all that for half the money we would have spended if we had pre-ordered and bought the DLC one by one, even more if we catch a sale.
Man, ESPECIALLY with Bethesda games.
