Anybody interested in friendly On-Foot PvP ?

It's been a while since the last combat / conflict Community Goal (the memorable "Federation's Attempt to Capture Yuri Grom").

I was wondering if there were people interested in practicing some friendly On-Foot team PvP.

With an handful of CMDRs we could gather at a surface Conflict Zone and split into 2 fairly balanced teams (welcome to all skill levels / gears / grades, beginners to veterans included). We could then just play rounds (the regular CZ gameplay, trying to win on the scoreboard), in a friendly and casual manner.

We could find a location convenient for everyone (for example near the current CG) and make it weekly.

Maybe there are already similar initiatives by other CMDRs that I haven't heard of yet. Or more generally speaking, I might have missed other ways to find on-foot PvP. If so, I would be really interested to hear about them. Thanks in advance !

Damn, looks like everybody is too busy moving cargo for the Colonia bridge, it's only the 2 of us for now 😑
Let's wait a bit longer see if the weekend brings more people.

Totally, I also thought that making this weekly would be so cool. If we can get a couple more of CMDRs (maybe 6 in total would be a good start ?), I would love to organize something proper.

It shouldn't be a big deal to find a CZ somewhere convenient for everybody, since there are plenty of them everywhere. If we post the settlement's name and we play several rounds in the row, we can keep this up alive for other people to freely join-in.

Let's wait some more and I'll get back to you guys !

I've got some things kicking around my schedule a bit, but I will drop into this thread from time to time.

We have a number of people in our group who enjoy doing ground work, and I would expect we'd be interested in doing some non-BGS related ground combat, just for fun.

Will do. I'm not sure if you have a Discord channel, but it might help you with organization, etc.

You are welcome to stop into my group's Discord and introduce yourself. We don't require membership in our squadron or pledging to our faction in order to hang out.

Yeah, totally, I also thought our group will need a Discord and some logistic.
I'm really looking forward to take care of that. But on the other hand I'm worry that we don't have enough people yet. :rolleyes:
One thing for sure is that I'll create a Discord for our first ever CZ, it's gonna be necessary.

Cool. Our group has channels set up for friends of the group to chat, etc. So if you need some space for that while you set up your home we can accommodate you

Nice !! You guys are the best ! It's very tempting, I got to think this whole Discord thing through. I'll get back to you about that soon.

But one thing for sure is that we'll do something together, Wraith Shipping and our little group, sooner or later ;)

I played a bunch of hours yesterday on the High Intensity surface CZ (Lagrange Dredging Station - T Tauri System). It was full of PvP CMDRs in Open, so much fun !

I'll spent most of my time at this settlement for the coming days. Let me know if you guys wanna play some (in the same team or against each other).
I'm ok with both factions, Taurus Mining or Aegis. We can also do Low or Medium Intensity.

Let's make a "Forum All-Star" team and go show them !

I have a G3 Artemis with extra melee damage and extra damage protection (got it from a shop - not mad enough to engineer that stuff.)
