Anybody know why the guests ignore this viewing?

I'm not sure what's going on here. This is an underground viewing of the aardvark's little cave shelter. This is part of a persistent walkthrough where the guests walk from one walkthrough habitat to another. Here, they enter the cave, go down the stairs, and can view inside the shelter, before going up the stairs and into the pangolin enclosure. For whatever reason, the guests never acknowledge this viewing at all. They walk right past it every time. You can see from the 2nd picture that the guests crowd up in the other area where they can't really see the aardvarks right now, but completely ignore where they should be able to see them from a few feet away. (Don't hate on the cave...it's not detailed yet because I don't want to spend the time on it until it's working as it should)

I have a sunken viewing area for Gharials which is also constantly ignored by guests, even when the gharials are in the water.

First off, really like the design. Well done so far.

Might try and add a couple of education boards, with a speaker. And. a donation can. See if the can gets any donations going from that area.
Other than that, the guest may seem more attracted to the deck, just because there is "more" to see, than in the cave.
But, if you place an Aardvark education board, and a speaker. Plus one of those random facts education boards, you can get guests to stop to read those, and make it appear that the guests are checking out the cave. ;)

I was just looking at your pics again. I wonder if you could get an exhibit in that spot, across from the den? You could seal it in the cave too. Iv never put an exhibit in a enclosure before. The keepers might not recognize it. But, it could work, where you have a guest walkthough. And, if it does work, it would definitely get guests to stop. You could put a exhibit animal that is from the same biome.
