Anybody knows if exobiology datas are lost in case of a crash?

My hull is quite low at the moment, so I have to mentally prepare to eventually lose my Universal Cartographics datas, but would it concern exobiology too?

@Red Anders crashed into a fairly safe star the other night and couldn't escape before the heat and lack of o2 consumed him. I don't say this to shame him for his awful skills I just want to point out he lost some exo dat along with any respect I had for him.

Yeah totally safe white dwarf :ROFLMAO: And by 'crashed' he means 'was interdicted into, whilst in the jets' lol. But yeah I did lose about 50p in plant scans which was a shame.

As other might have suggested (too Late, didn't read) search for (relatively) nearby fleet carriers for repairs. Also, mind sharing your current location? Someone might be out there (relatively) nearby for a rescue.

Over a week ago I contacted them for their services for the first time in 6 years (FPS drop while skimming the surface of a planet left me with 6% hull). They dispatched two Seals, regardless of the fact one had to travel 100+ jumps and the other 300+. The first one made it in a few hours and now I'm happily underway again with 100% hull.

Submit a repair request, your browser will open an additional IRC chat window and you'll be contacted by a dispatcher.
