I bet they´re out there... but we cannot see them.. see those innacesible sectors.. like Polaris..Now how cool would it be to actually see a Thargoid/Alien fleet getting visibly closer like that in space... just think about it, you're out exploring and you see what look like distant stars but they're getting closer and closer until planet sized ships start zooming past you on their way towards human space.

Another very nice region like 'NGC 7822' is near Thor's Eye (not too far from inhabited space towards Sag A*)
Can't remember the name, but I passed through it a few months back. It's Either - M67 sector or LKHA 115 - A Nebula spewing a stream of Blue Supergiants and Black holes.
