Anyone Actually Fly a T9?

I do. I trade in T9 and mine in T9. Haz res mining in T9 can be really exciting (dogfighting eagles and cobras in t9 is really fun, asteroids can really help) but I usually stay at normal or high res sites to have some authority ships backup just in case. Yeah I'm lucky... for now ;D

Just got our Ceremonial Teabanker into a T9 ... I love the way it flies ... finally a ship where you really feel like it huge.

Armed with a Class 9 Torpedo, single shot.

Just gave the T9 a go last night...tried two outfits...1) All normal mines 2) All shock mines

Choose option one to kill your pursuers...astonishing the number of high rank ships I took out with this...just line up to be straight behind you and launch your green shells. I was able to collect mission bonuses this way on top of collecting bounties.

Choose option two to disorient your pursuers and escape...an Eagle getting hit by 4 shock mines at once sends it spinning out of control.

I didn't say it was fun to fly, it's like trying to mud-wrestle a greasy walrus.

But it is survivable.

The T9 is my mining ship, have done two mining trips in 2.1 so far, on of those today. Don't care what people say, I really like that ship! And its as driver says, with A6 shields and some boosters you are well good defended.

This thread has kinda helped me decide to wait before upgrading from my T7 to the T9. I was planning on getting the T9, equipping all cargo slots to max and upgrading the shields to 6B with a couple of A rated boosters. With the 6A generator nearly 11 mill more than the B, I'm gonna have to keep saving.

A rate the thrusters and A rate the fsd and then she is okay.
Like monk said a fat troll on ice.

Still think the Python is better for trading, but I like to run the shady stuff.
