So I was browsing the galaxy map while docked at a station to find somewhere to go and while flying through the sea of stars one caught my eye briefly for being the size of a good several of them.
Now I'd seen big stars before and flown to a few but something about this one seemed odd to me as the icon for it on the starmap looked different to me (unless I've just missed others like it).
Most of them are the usual star shape, circle with a cross through it but this one looked like a ball of fire that had exploded or a cloud that's expanding.
The name of the star in the galaxy map is Tejat Posterior. I thought "I'll type it into Wikipedia, maybe there's information on it there" and there was.
Mu Geminorum also known as Tejat Posterior is a Red Giant, and from the looks of it's icon it seems to be huge.

Second image zoomed up close. Most other icons don't even cover a quarter of that size zoomed in.

Now I'm curious to go there myself, but it's 256LY from my current position and would take me a bit of time as a less-than-capable explorer in my Cobra Mk3 without the best gear.
So the point of this thread is basically, has anyone been there? Is anyone nearby and willing to take a look at it? Is anyone heading there?
Is it even worth going? Is it going to be something as big as that last stage of red giant stars in this Wikipedia image?. I just saw that it has an unusual icon and looks absolutely huge but for all I know it's just another star that isn't even worth this topic, in which case I apolagise.
But it looked interesting and I figured I'd ask what some more experienced explorers might think.
Thank you for the time and any information.
