Anyone bought a gtx 1080 and bench it with Planet Coaster?

As the title suggest, anyone buy one? Or since the game is not optimize yet it probably won't make a difference. Thinking about upgrading my Gtx 970 to a 1080.

the cpu usage scales depending on the power of your system, calculating more guest animations and responses depending on the spare cpu power.

You need to look carefully to determine if you are cpu or gpu limited. i found on my old i7-930 i was starting to get cpu limited on PC at around 1k-1.5k guests (and also a lot of indie simulation games), on my new i7-6700 im gpu limited. All with a radeon 7950 which ill be upgrading with one of the new finfet cards by amd or nvidia when the time comes.

I'm curious about this question also. Someone on here must have bought a 1080. Please let us know if it has been worth it to you.[yesnod] What benefits have you noticed?

I have a 2560x1600 screen, which isn't quite up there to 4k res, but it still takes a lot more effort to render than a 1080p. I think the 1080 or 1070 would be a good option and would pair well with my CPU, but always curious to hear update news from people who have done it.
