anyone disappointed about the full roster of animals ?

Not disappointed in the roster. It is quite extensive and we definitely got a lot more than there was in Zoo Tycoon at first. It is unrealistic to expect any more. Modeling, texturing, animating, and coding 70 different species is a huge job. I feel like DLC for more animals would be worth it.

That being said, I can't wait for the DLC. I wonder if there will be continent specific packs. I would be most interested in a North American pack. Some of my favorite animals are from there. Animals like NA Cougar (Mountain Lion), Bagers, Wolverines, Beavers, Moose, NA Black Bears, Deer, Bobcats, Coyotes, NA Alligators, Armadillos, Prairie Dogs. The list is almost endless with amazing animals.

Not at all, I played the game for 8 hours and in that time managed to create 3 habitats, it will be ages before I've tried all the animals, there's so much to do! I'm hoping to see more animals in the future, (meerkats!) But for now, there's plenty to go on with 😀

Meerkats, Yes! I would love to put a pod of them in with the buffalo and warthog, and antelope. :D

I'm very happy with the animal roster in Planet Zoo. There are lots of exciting and beautiful animals.

Obviously there are a number of animals that I'd love to see in the future, but I can happily say that my favourites are already in the game (tapirs, lions, giraffes and some other feline species). 🦁🦒🐯

Honestly, I feel that they have done an amazing job as far as the number and diversity of animals goes. Yes, the african animals might be slightly over-represented, but then you can create an awesome safari because many of them enjoy each others company. Maybe future updates or DLCs will be themed according to the country the come from and they can then skip Africa. Who knows? Personally I'm not angry with having different types of bears, tortoises or tigers. There are also tons of animals I did not anticipate to be in there, which I find really interesting. So all in all I'd give the game a thumbs up and am looking forward to the futuer developments :)

I think we have a good mix of common and less seen zoo animals here. If they get the socializations worked out I will happily pay for DLC animals (and scenery) but I do expect some additional free animals will be coming if they follow the Planet Coaster strategy.

the only one animal on toster im kinda salty of is himalayan Brown bear,i know its endangered and all,but come on,it looks like grizzly and inhabits similliar biome to grizzly(unlike tigers,which have their differences) instead of dzu teh we could get unique andean bear,unique Sloth bear,or (not that much but even)unique sun bear ( didnt mention polar bear becasue lack of diving mechanic)
Also,chinese pangolin is a humongous thumb up from me as i love those armored critters so much,and never seen them in any zoo game)
