Removing the save files only works when Steam isn't synchronising with the cloud saves. To fix this you also need to turn this off.

I have the same problem. It occurs to me when I build too many paths in raster mode, for example to build atriums, etc. PZ doesn't seem to like that at all. The same applies to employee paths. I had devised a path system in a park so that every employee could go anywhere without meeting just one guest. Didn't like PZ either. Make the game crash every time and cause mega bad lags. They are so hard that it takes a good 80 seconds to set up a single shop.
