Anyone else getting alot of disconnects and crashes back to desktop since the latest patch and or the epic giveaway?

Happening way more often now, especially in open. I've gone to solo, and am having less issues, but still at least once per day. Is anyone else seeing the same? Purple Python, Orange Sidewinder, Scarlett Krait, etc.

Having 0 problem here , what are your configuration ?
The only thing i got is sometimes orange sidy on CG peak hour with alot of FC.

Yes, a lot more. It's around 3 an hour for me since last patch.
The coloured ships have returned, can't say I missed them in any way.

The crashes seem worse when winged up. I was watching CMDR Plater earlier today and every time he tried winging up with someone he got DC'd. He ended up rage quitting the stream... but in the nice CMDR Plater way.

I played all last week thru today no problems at all "pc"
Today monday I had three orange sidewinder dc's one after another, logged all the way out and no problems since.
Never had one before.

It does indeed. Very annoying... Last time it happened when I was landing on the planet, never managed to get to the glide after dropping from orbital cruise... In my case just kicked me out to the desktop. Mission board very often does not load completely - I have to leave and load again, colourful ships left and right etc. So pretty much what others are experiencing...

My game crashed to desktop 5 times yesterday, and has crashed at least twice every day since the EG thing went live. No major updates on my PC, no hardware changes, or driver updates. No idea what the hell is going on.

It will be related to additional server load after the Epic give-away. Frontier never managed to upgrade the infrastructure. They're probably waiting for most of those players to drop off the game "naturally". It does however lower the experience for others so there is that. Usual FDev inability to sort out the issues within own game...

Cool story bro!
Frontier lease AWS net services. These can take time to scale up to meet demand. Some busier areas might need a day or two. Don't forget cyber Monday and black Friday and all that has been covid wise going on too.
Anyone got numbers for new epic players?
