Anyone else getting more animals getting stuck on things in habitats?

This is a separate thing from the animals escaping inside the habitats or walking/diving through barriers, which are frequently reported bugs.

I've noticed in the past month or so, maybe since the last DLC or update following, that I get welfare alerts for animals occasionally and I discover they are simply stuck on a piece of landscaping in their habitat. For instance, just now I had to move a bison from a boulder it was stuck on (and losing welfare rapidly). I have had animals getting stuck on plants too, and the hippos were completely unable to traverse the water plants and rocks I placed in the underwater area of their habitat, forcing me to remove most of them to make it a lot more boring and unrealistic looking. Oh, and monkeys and lemurs have been getting stuck on some of the climbable shelters that have been available in the game since I've been playing.

I don't think I've radically changed the way I design habitats since the last expansion, so is there some change in the way animals navigate the rocks and plants you put in their habitats that is making them get stuck or making them completely non traversable?

My zoos are all pretty fresh, but I had thatb happen with a meerkat habitat. One moment all was traversable, after entering the next time the animal got stuck and suddelny couldn't travers the rocks anymore.

If I was forced to guess ... they're probably working on implementing the new burrowing function and it may affect traversable area programing.

Hmm. I had a juvenile sea lion suddenly go to low welfare for lack of space. The habitat is not overly crowded, and the adults all have enough space. He isn't stuck anywhere and the whole thing reads as traversable, so I don't know what's going on. Trying to reload and hoping that fixes it.

I don't know if this is the same thing, or perhaps linked, but I started a new Franchise zoo yesterday and noticed that when I added animals to a habitat, they would just stand by the keeper gate and not move. The only way I could get them to actually start wandering around their enclosure was to manually move them to somewhere else in the habitat.

Similarly to above, the whole habitat shows as traversable, so not sure what's going on.

I haven't checked my older zoos yet to see if the same thing happens there, or tried again after reloading, but wondered if anyone else had the same thing happen?

I thought too that my new animals in franchise didn't move. I just waited and after a while they run into the habitat. but is was weird; had to wait for a pretty long time.

Roxxsmom: does it help to just place the sealion somewhere else in the habitat?

I definitely get this problem a lot. One particular example that was happening constantly was my orangutans climbing over a particular climbing structure. It happened every single time they climbed across it. It was happening constantly, and eventually I just played around with variations of the climbing structure until it finally stopped happening. I don't even remember what I had to do, it seemed pretty arbitrary.

Two of my binturongs did this the other day on their climbing structure. I ended up deleting the climbing frame and building something new. I think I've had this problem with every climbing animal in the game.
