Anyone else have to restart pc every time to get x52 to work?

The last two nights I need to restart the pc to get it to recognize the stick.
Anyone else had this happen? Should I delete and reinstall sitech drivers/files

Try a different USB port reinstall drivers is worth a go also switch of power saving on USB root hub, power management tab found in device manager, had a fair bit of bother with this in the past.

What operating system are you using?

Win 8.314592 :p

You might be onto something with usb. I have it connected to a usb extender...gives you more usb's. But yeah I can totally see that being the culprit. Rep 4 you my good man.

I have an X52 pro and sometimes one or two buttons will stop working. This will require a restart of the PC to get them going again. No idea why. I have tried all of the above :(

I have a X52 and I have a minor issue with it. Maybe connected with your problem. I use Windows 8.1 and I have to pull the USB and plug it in again immediately everytime I start the PC. It's working fine without doing that, but the Display and all the buttons won't be lit. My guess is that in my case it is related to power-saving or power-on USB ports while the PC is shut down (The PC is always plugged in and I don't cut power to it overnight for various reasons).

So my guess is that is similiar for you too. Do you have your PC still powered after shutdown?

Got a x52 as well, on windows 7 i had to un-plug and then plug it back in, or restart, after the pc had been sleeping.

Is fixed on windows 10

PC sleeping is another likely culprit...infact may be the one as the stick powers off when it goes to sleep.
Every time this has happed the computer did go into sleep mode.
