Anyone else having a hard time finding combat missions?

Title says it all, combat missions are few and far between, station after station is bloated with lackluster (and pretty darn lame) courier missions, maybe once every 5 stations or so i might come across a combat mission, and there is no garuntee i will be able to do it, last one i found was a kill mission against an anaconda...i tried twice but my little eagle just couldn't handle it alone

In my experience it's usually independent systems that give missions vs surrounding factions.

So find a group of anarchic/indie systems with a faction/s you don't mind being wanted by and fight the power!

Actually i'm finding the opposite, I'm in a Hauler in and around Eranin and all I see are combat missions!
