Anyone else psyched by Death Stranding on PC?

Not even remotely interested. Kojima never knows what he wants - a game, or a movie. Tries to do both, and fails on both fronts. His games never worked for me. And it's always hard to tell if he's desperately pretentious or self-aware of how ridiculous his stories and characters are.

I watched many reviews and as I suspected game is basically Kojmia feeding his "art" ego. Dont get me wrong, the guy is a good creator and dont afraid to pursue his own vision but to me DS seems way to pretensions and different just to be different. Take the kojima name out of equation and nobody would be as hyped for this title as now.

Oh, he knows metal gear is dumb, trust me.


Metal gear is a great game, i actually like the long cutscenes.

I'm willing to give it a try based on the strength of Metal Gear V, which I think is awesome. I haven't watched/read any reviews so I haven't the foggiest what people are saying, but I rarely use them to make pre-purchase decisions anyway.

Kojima's games were always too weird for me. Off-putting even.
The game does look gorgeous, but watching some reviews and gameplays only made me more sure it's not a game for me.

I mean, brilliant walking simulation, however impressive, is not something I'm going to lose my tight gaming hour over. And the story and cinematics... well, it's Kojima, so I'm almost sure it's going to be gross and I'm not gonna like it.
