Anyone else stuck at the title screen?

I've had this issue all day. I can login via steam just fine, get to the title screen, but never get to the part where the servers connect and the enter game options become available. I tried the whole "delete temp internet files" thing, but that didn't do anything. Any ideas?

Came back with one bad file, but still can't get in. It just keeps telling me that it can't connect to the server, though the launcher says the server is good.

No, I already tried that fix and it didn't solve the problem. My issue is after login at the title screen where you select the game mode. Server says unavailable in game, launcher says server is good. Been like this all day, and I'm not seeing anything on the forums about the servers being down.

Tried uninstalling and reinstalling. Still saying "can't connect to frontier servers".
Are you still experiencing frustration?

The suggestion to check firewall and router is sound as this does kinda feel more 'networky/authenticationy' than client/server - just resetting your router is unlikely to fix anything, but cost little time and zero credits 😎

Have you ever played with MIN-ED-Launcher?
Can be a bit of a faff to get started with, but is a boon once set up and might give you some pointers on why you're currently having difficulties.

Ok, the firewall suggestion was definitely an underwhelming response, but did lead to the actual solution. I had to download a VPN service to get past my Verizon home internet router's inability to do port forwarding so I could play Subnautica with my son over the internet using a multiplayer mod that requires opening up port 11000. Uninstalling the software seems to have resolved the issue. Appreciate the help!

WOW, congrats on digging your way out of that one with surprisingly little (apparently) calibrated percussive adjustment.

I am glad my unhelpful suggestion solved the issue. If only more people without knowledge took shots in the dark like I did we would solve all the problems in the world.

The deleting temporary files thingie is only when updating or validating files returns an "invalid manifest checksum" error and, as far as I know, has no effect on server connectivity issues.

Sometimes connecting to the servers in the main menu just takes a very long time. It's very random. Try waiting for a good while, it may well get there eventually.
