Anyone else supporting Black Omega?

I've spent some time here and there looking for others who support Black Omega but I haven't been able to find any active accounts. I've checked out the Black Omega squadron but they seem to be inactive.

Right now Black Omega is in a state of retreat and I've been spending a few days trying to get myself set up well enough to handle the kinds of missions they frequently offer. I purchased a lot of personal weapons and stored them in my carrier because they often seem to require these. I've also put together a build specifically for the massacre civilian missions (still trying to find an optimal build for these missions). While I've been busy unlocking engineers and grinding materials, I noticed that they dropped in influence substantially and it looks like they're barely hanging on by their teeth in this system. Considering that this faction is present in 42 systems and is in a state of expansion, I'm guessing there are players backing this faction up. Anyway, after searching for "Black Omega" on these forums and only finding old posts from inactive people, I thought I'd just toss this up here in off chance that there's active supporters of the faction who still check this subforum. Hello there, maybe we can help eachother out in helping this minor faction :)

I last heard from Shagz in October last year - he sounded a bit burned out - but I can ping him if you want. We had a sort of unofficial alliance with BO dating all the way back the Dangerous Games. We helped each other out a lot with our respective trouble makers

Most of us left. A few players respawned and eventually became Lorens Reapers. You can read about their continuing adventures in Anarchy by following the excellent writer Matt Lehman. Two of his post Black Omega novels are available for free download on Drew Wagars site.

My humble part in all of that drama was small but very well written.

As you seem to be the only one in Tjakiri it looks like you are Black Omega now.

Oh, and if you ever track down the Black Omega novel you might do well to stay away from Tsin Gu.

Somethings are best left unrepeated.

I'm back after taking a year's absence, and AFAIK I'm the only person left. tbh after our well-publicised thrashing due to the old BGS issue of one system war locking all your influence gains p much everyone left as most of us ran out of steam one after the other. I tried to hold the fort on my own for a while, but IRL got in the way 'cause I had to move countries and change career so I had to prioritise that.

HOWEVER...

I'm back about and rejuvenated even though I don't have quite as much free time as I used to. If you're still looking to get involved then feel free to hmu on Inara and we'll sort something out. I've been playing around w/ the new Odyssey stuff and I'd be more than willing to do w/e together if our time zones align. If they don't, then we could still organise to get things done between us.

As far as the retreat was concerned, Kumo decided that they needed to fiddle w/ the BGS in order to help them out. I'm fine w/ that as we've always been on good terms and they're the greater good. I can explain more in DMs if you want as far as it'd affect the wing.
