Just wondering if anyone had got there yet, i'm one ingredient missing from a few RNG goes at level 4 FSD range, the boost sequence also could be appealing if anyone has tried this, Beta or otherwise id be interested to compare it to standard times.

I haven’t actually made any FSD crafts yet. I’ve been trying to get level 5 access at Farseer first but have been unable to do so yet. I turned in exploration data and easily got to level 4 access but level 5 just does not seem to want to unlock, even after a couple million credits worth of data turn ins.
I may just craft a bunch of level 4 mods and see if that unlocks level 5 faster….

i have got to the same level 4 but a few mil credits dont make a dent to my rep any more, so im going for level 4
Have you logged out of the game and back in? That's how it did me...also, going with Elvira took me over 20 million in exploration to hit lvl 5.
Making 3 or 4 T4 Mods should unlock T5

i love the DBE, and fly it next to my courier most of the time in 2.1...
with a FDS grade 5 it does 45 ly max in its bubble outfit (a-class shields, a class sensors, a-class trusters with dirty drive tuning, lightweight large mutlicannon class 3, charge enhanced d-class powerdistributor...).
i had a headstart because i didn't make it back into the bubble before 2.1., so it bribed my way with 10 mio in exploration data directly to farseers grade 5. the chemical manupilators came from missions.

id be happy with 40ly in explorer outfit.
Im out in the black with an Asp Ex with a level 2 FSD mod from Farseer, 36-39ly jump.
Had a good roll on a level 4 and managed to get 35ly on a fully A-fit Asp including prismatic A5 shield and multi`s.
This is not an explorer ship for me though just a bubble scout build.
The level 4 roll did though bring me up from 3% to about 40% so was probably quicker than going out to scan again - need to test some more.
