These Lava Spouts are dangerous!

When you approach them, the temperature goes up around 100k for each step you take. I expect that these are deadly when active, but I am quite far out and don't fancy losing all I've studied.

SRVs are also not immune. The temperature just keeps on rising. CO2 Vents do not seem to give out the same heat and I have not yet come across active ones yet.

I guess this is what those future Lava worlds will be like if we ever get to land on them.

When I landed, none of these were active. After coming back to the site, everything is active. Anyone else had that experience? Bug?

I think they're randomly spawned, which is a bit weird. I visited Jameson's crash site one night, without any volcanics. Logged in again at the same location the following day and there were lava vents all around.

Weird. I would have expected them to be procedurally spawned, like the rocks, in a deterministically random fashion. Disappoint. Perhaps a bug - it didn't render at the time? What about third or fourth visit?
