Hardware & Technical anyone getting a model f keyboard?

just reread my op, just to be clear, I have *nothing* to do with that vendor. Just something I'm keeping my eye on.

But I did just pull the trigger on one :)

Mines better. Sits between my HOTAS Joystick and Throttle.

I use a Razer Ornata. Weird love-child of mechanical switches and membrane... But I love it!

My Logitech G710+ still works great.... but I went ahead and bought a Logitech G810 too :(

I wouldn't get an "ultra compact" keyboard though... my subconscious brain would get confused at where the keys are and miss all the keys.

yeah, I never understood the compact and ultracompact... I want a full keyboard, dual keypads, dual function keys. and it needs to weigh enough to double as a hand-to hand weapon.

model m is a totally different animal -- plastic anchors instead of steel, non n-rollover. A nice keyboard, but not an "F.".

Can't argue there. I've also got a lovely keyboard (and the rest of) a MicroVAX 3100 that I'd love to see again. That was always a difficult keyboard to judge - enclosed in one of those jelly protectors so popular back then :)

I might say hello to it at Chrimble when we go back for a visit :D

wow, you really went old school on me. sorry, my first foray into desktops was a ibm 5150, my first mini computer was a pdp-11 from the 90s, accessed from a green tube. with a HORRIBLE keyboard.
