Anyone go from Krait back to Python just for the cockpit?

I had been using a Krait almost exclusively since it came out, but decided to equip my old Python for mining. Getting back in this ship just feels right and I don't think I'll go back. The Krait is more agile, but I just never got used to the bright shiny cockpit. I play in VR, so maybe this exacerbates things. The Python cockpit is perfect.

BTW, I'm really enjoying the mining update.

I still use my asp x in VR cause I can see all around me and it’s the perfect size to get between asteroids. I tried python and it’s not very easy to see all around and it’s much bigger so for mining I find the asp x better. Haven’t tried the krait yet but man is VR amazing huh?

Not a fan of either Krait's cockpit because of the way the fronts of the wings intrude into the view in VR. The view through the Python's canopy isn't the best either, but I still love flying it because the cockpit itself is IMHO the best designed in the game: it invokes a kind of 'luxury car' feeling.

The choice between Asp Explorer and Krait is hard... the Python was never in the equation...
I love the cockpit view of the Asp in VR and the cockpit of the Krait is okay for exploration (besides being the more versatile ship).

Will i ever get a Python for a Krait? No. The Python wasn´t even able to pull me from the AspX.

The Python cockpit seems to resemble a plane cockpit the most (in this selection of ships), which might be a factor. I am used to flying the Python and Asp more but do like Krait cockpit, to me it is mostly the difference in flight model that leaves the Krait behind the others.

Never stopped using my Python

I love how the krait Looks but the Python is a far Sexyer and overall Better ship...(i got a thing for industrial ships okay don't judge me...) I want to fly a spaceship not a Sculpture...

Python has one extra internal, which suits my piracy playstyle well. Besides, that imitation wood grain. Am I right?

Otherwise, I have both and use them when I feel like it.

Yeah, the Lakon ships are some of the best to fly in VR for that reason. Also, with the spacial orientation and sense of scale, they seem to be a lot more easily maneuvered in VR.

It's the classic high wing vs low wing controversy.

Combat, Krait. Everything else, Python.

And I *do* love the Asp Explorers cockpit. Except when it cracks...

I'm actually in my Python now thinking the same; were out mining an hour ago with my Python instead of the Krait for a change. They're both excellent medium ships, but, the view from the Krait cockpit does hinders me a bit while mining.
Overall though, i'd pick the Krait Mk II. The choice of having a fighter equipped is why i favour it.
