Anyone got a Vive AND a CV1 yet ?

If you do, I'm curious to know whether the CV1 can be plugged into the Vive breakout box. It would sure be better than climbing behind the PC to swap over all the time. (All my video ports are utilised with a triple display and one HMD)

edit: Actually, I still have 1 DisplayPort free, but using the breakout box for both would be more convenient.

I was going to suggest a USB switch (or two) but then starting wondering if they would even be supported. They would probably need to be active (powered). Can you even get active USB3 switches?

Yes you can get powered USB3 hubs with switches, but I'm focusing more on the HDMI side of things as my PC already has USB3 ports on the front.

My key question is whether the Rift CV1 can be plugged into the Vive breakout box.

powered usb 3 and 3.1 switches do exist, though they are a bit expensive, you can get them in a large variety of orders, I wonder personally if the headsets need 'true' one port for each or can for example have everything connected to one via a usb 3.1 hub?
