Engineers Anyone got the Liz Ryder invitation yet?

Mephane, I was allied in all three powers as I did the three missions it took to be beyond 'neutral' with the Engineer faction. The fourth mission was a trek but gave the data and invite. You just need to get cordial. We drink Iron Brew where I'm from. Best wishes man. john

No invite from Liz. No Christmas card from me!

Actually just wanted to say I love your signature!

I got it a few days ago, but don't remember if there was any magic to it. I may have switched modes or something, but can't remember for sure. I did spend a lot of time with Chris and Sylvia.

I read this thread. Did one mission in open for the hide out to another system returned and was blown to smithereens in the no fire zone outside the station by a fed PP ship and a patreus PP ship and lost all my cargo and 9m credits. Grrr! Went back again and cashed in the mission and got an invite. The secret is to lose concentration and get destroyed while the police turn a blind eye to the mayhem outside. Oh Liz couldnt now I cant get any modified bombs and stuff because all my cargo of bits and bobs is gone (and 9m credits). Fly safe commanders!

Got the invitation after a few hours of missions.

Sorry Liz, I'm not buying you 200 landmines. I'm keeping my 700,000 credits and you can keep your randomly generated missile upgrade... I don't have several weeks to waste finding more stuff you want, hoping that your random hacks (errrrr engineering) result in the weapon system I want.

I'm heading back home. Enjoy your base, and your collection of landmines. Hope you choke on them.

Exactly my reaction. Worked my ass off for faction reputation in my newbie sidewinder, then hitting the 200 landmine wall at full speed.
Oh, you want me to make a multi-jump trip 50 times at my own expense? No thank you. I've been doing enough Power Play in my day.

The problem is that she looks as if she was a good early game engineer to work on, but she definitely isn't, and you only find out after you've done much of the work. It's a huge letdown. Why not just make it something higher than cordial instead of this two-step-process that requires me to do repetitive tasks or have a mid-tier Lakon ship?

I have been working on my reputation with the Eurydia Blue Mafia today and have just reached friendly. With how the mission board updates no longer every 5 minutes, I can't really tell whether I just need to wait until whenever* the next mission board update tick happens, or whether you need to be all the way up to allied.

*Does anyone know in what interval the mission board updates now?

Watch out. I got the missions and the invite found landmines in Neumann Depot, Kurughnaye took them to Demolition Unlimited in Eurybia ( Liz Ryder's planetary base) for delivery and was destroyed 200 meters off the landing pad. lost everything as I did no have enough insurance to fully cover a fully loaded Anaconda with several mods. Understand not being able to carry illegal cargo to other places but not understand getting destroyed at the delivery location. a little miffed about that. If you can't land on the pad without being fired on how are you supposed to deal; with the engineer? Interval update for me was 2 days.

You shouldn't have been destroyed for carrying illegal cargo. If this was the case, file a ticket (support link on the launcher), and you will probably be reimbursed your Conda.
