Anyone have an idea why my Tier 3 Orbis station wouldn't have a shipyard - even after Thursday Maint.

I waited several days after the Thursday Maintenance to post this, however my Tier 3 Orbis station doesn't have a shipyard or outfitting. I don't understand why this is. Anyone have any insight?
 
You need Tech Level to unlock facilities, I believe the current level is 35 ... however if you only have the original station at T2 or T3, the minimum tech level of the system is raised so you can have a shipyard. What may have happened is that by building your relay station, you no longer meet the tech level boost, but now do not meet the 35 tech required to have one.

The joys of not having an ironed out colonization system with no in game documentation but permanent effects to the game world... the good news is you can just keep building more to definitely get the shipyard back again. The bad news is, you have to build more.
 
This isnt the case. My T3 has a shipyard even after building a relay station and several other structures. My tech level is below 35 as evidenced by no outfitting options.

Thanks for the insight. The bad news is my system, even though it has an ELW and several other decent bodies like water world and high metal content worlds, there are no landable bodies. As a result I don't have the ability to build the surface settlements for high tech, and these are prerequisites for some of the orbital tier 2 buildings. I'm truly boned.

I feel like if your system has no landable bodies, I shouldn't be locked out of the tier 2 buildings with pre requisites.

You might be able to gain some tech by building Orbital Installation - Medical or Comm Station, which gives 3 Tech, but they of course eat your orbital slots.

Yeah, working on a medical now. We'll see how many tech things I can make. Crossing my fingers.
 
While my coriolis gained a shipyard as a result from putting in a support ticket, I am still waiting on the other facilities and a shipyard on my planetary post. Tech level 45 now, for 2 weeks.
