Anyone have an X-55 Rhino behaving erratically?

Just trying to narrow this down, seems like since the latest patch all of my controls on the throttle side will fire off at random on their own. Trying to nail down if it's an Elite issue or something on my end that coincidentally started after the new patch. Have tried deleting and reinstalling drivers, unplugging/plugging in, and numerous reboots. Really hoping it's not a hardware problem with my throttle...

Anyways, I've opened the config utility and monitored the controls, they don't seems to fire off on their own outside of Elite.

Are you plugged in to USB 3 ports? That often helps.

The X-55 needs a fair bit of power, so putting it in a hub is a no-no.

I specially bought a powered USB 3.0 Hub for my X55.
To my surprise the Hub caused all kinds of erratic ghosting behavior.
When I directly plugged the X55 in to USB 3.0 ports on my PC all problems were gone.

Thanks! I'll bypass the hub, I wonder why it's just now becoming a problem?

Randomly deploying the landing gear or cargo scoop wasn't a huge deal, but when I suddenly go silent and lose my shields in battle, it becomes a big deal lol.

I had this problem too, I fixed it by recalibrating the axis on the stick and throttle (if the line looks funky with a lot of aliasing then that's the problem; recalibratte and you should be fine).
