Anyone have bugs or issue with their security guard ???

I have build and create few staff room and rename it to security office ..and I have change the perk of the security officer for the security guard ....but the security guard just won't enter the staff areas"security office "
They will keep walking and up down the paths , just that they won't enter the room .. they just keep pacing up and down...


My other zoo staff such as zookeeper and educator can enter the rooms without any issue

I have 20 security guard in my sandbox zoo ...

And 5 staff rooms rename as security office for the security guard ...

And I created a work zone specially for the security guard... I hight light the staff areas in green

Do the security guards need to be in the staff room? i.e. are they exhausted/tired?

If they don't have to be in the staff room, they don't visit them..

Did you add the security staff rooms to the work zone?

I never bother assigning security guards to a specific area. I usually only have one or two guards, but complete coverage with security cameras sunk into the ground (they are not exactly attractive). No problems with pickpockets or vandalism.

How big is your zoo that you feel the need for 20 guards?

Have you placed security cameras? If not, fire all but one or two guards without assigning them to any work zones, but cover all public areas, particularly where lots of guests gather such as food courts, with cameras. You can check the camera coverage in the heat map.
