I'm an Elite fan of old, regrettably I didn't have a BBC but I got to Elite on my C64 and replayed the hell out of it on my Amiga. Yes, I helped fund Elite Dangerous - even though I don't have a PC I can play it on.
I have an idea for a small leftfield Elite project. For it I need the Elite ships, perhaps stations etc. too, textured in a 3D format (eg 3D Max).
If anyone has or can get the ships, including your own or fan-made I can ask permission from, and is interested in an interesting little side project can you PM me? I'll tell you more about it.
If it comes to pass the project will be announced on the forum but I'd like not to get hopes up and instead just *ping* release it.
Any moderator (etc.) who wants to know what the heck I'm up to can PM me too of course.
