Horizons Anyone Having Problems with Rank Increase After 2.1?

I have been so pre-occupied with doing new missions and other stuff, that I failed to notice until a few days ago that my rank percentage has not increased since the 2.1 update. I was at POST CAPTAIN 24% on May 26th, and today I am still at 24%. This despite doing enough additional missions with 2.1 to have added 70 million CR to my bank account.

I just filed a ticket, but was wondering if anyone else has had a similar problem with rank no longer increasing despite dozens of completed new 2.1 missions.

If you do missions for a SuperPower (New Name for Fed and Empire), you "should" advance your military rank a few percentage points for every few missions done for one of them. In my case, missions for the Federation since the 2.1 update have failed to add to my next rank progression, listed as a percentage on the right hand panel.

I am doing a few Fed missions and it is going up after each mission. I am only Midshipman though. I want a FAS so bad.

I've increased my Imperial rank but the whole process seemed kind of, how can I say this, borked, to put it politely.

You might want to have a read of this, to cut a long story short.

Basically, I'm a few percent into Master rank, but I've had Inbox messages congratulating me on my promotion to Knight and Lord.

Maybe instead of introducing The Engineers and all the apparent troubles with that, FDev should fix the stuff, already in the game, that doesn't work properly.

Mine started advancing again (Albeit slowly) after the 2.1.02 update. It only took two mission to add a new 1% increase to my previously stuck value, so I know beyond doubt that my account was glitched between the 2.1 and 2.1.02 updates.

I am in talks with FD support right now trying to see about getting all that lost ranking progress restored to my account. Not sure if this is something they can do or not. Or if they have a way to read my account logs between two specific dates.

Still waiting for them to get back to me.

Meanwhile, I am now at 40% post captain after doing about ⅓ the number of missions I did between the 2.1 and 2.1.02 updates that gave me ZERO % increase in rank. :(

I got to 100% warrant officer but got message saying I was made up to vice admiral?? still at 100% warrant officer though, have been for about 6 or 7 missions that should give a least a couple of percent.

What do you mean "new name"? Is there a specific kind of mission now? I used to rank up somehow by doing stuff for their respective minor factions. I think they removed the link between superpower rep and minor faction rap now. You have to work them separately each and that's an awful lot of more work.

Still no progress with those ranks. 2 weeks of play. I stopped bothering.
