Anyone here actually prefer the waterfalls in zoo tycoon 2 then in planet zoo ?

Basically if you make a cliff and put a water or it , and it will become a waterfall ...

Anyone hoping that planet zoo should actually make the same waterfall mechanics or ideas.

Instead of placing the" special effects" waterfall

I think the Waterfalls in Planet Zoo are good because it is possible to let a Waterfall come out of a Wall like in my Tiger Enclosure. But we could really need more Waterfall Sizes

I think a special heat map where the effects are really visible and make them invisible the rest of the time would be great

Why not both? I really miss that possibility and IIRC the waterfalls in RCT3 worked like that, too, so it's not like Frontier never got such a mechanic to work before...it'd certainly be a great addition to the effects we currently have.

I miss the pathing system from zt2 but I don’t really mind the waterfall effects in game.

I do like the general concept of the waterfalls in PZ, but I wish it would have been done smarter.
The best way would be one waterfall object with options for width, length and type....ok ....they did not do it.
But at least 1m wide waterfalls and for all widths twice and three times longer variatons, should have been possible.
Sure...I can build my waterfalls with multiple sections....and I can hide them in rocks on the left and right, to make them "smaller" .....but always these workarounds sigh

As onk said, personalization of elements would be a real fix for every problems this system got. But there's also one thing, We're not able to make emitter invisible, and thats bad.
