Riedquat Mar 19, 2014 #1 I was walking home at around 23:50, it was really obvious above and left of the Moon, was really nice to see. If its clear tonight I will get the scope out and have a look. Should be good viewing until late April.

Steve Mar 19, 2014 #2 I'll have a look for it later, clouds permitting. Jupiter is very noticeable at the moment as well. It's in Gemini, over to the west, to the right of Castor and Pollux

Pembs Mar 27, 2014 #3 I saw Mars around a week ago at around 10.30pm. Its was fairly low in the sky so I think the viewing will get better into April and May. Still even with my little 70mm telescope I could definitely make out some darker areas on the disk.
