I see that on a planet in the Taosha system, i think it is taosha 4.

When I flew down to the planet, there were thousands of skimmers with spray paint attachments all painting that area dark brown.

And thats the truth

I had stuff like this happen from time to time but they are usually not reproducible so even if reported as a bug, it's very hard to track down the cause an fix these kinds of errors.

Latest example happened last night during the rendering of the system map. There was a circular area missing surrounding the stars. Going back and opening the map solved it and I couldn't recreate it again to take a screenshot.

I have had that multiple times and still see it now and agian. It`s some sort of texture/shading bugg. Still have to make a ticket for it.

Do you have a Radeon card? Could be yet another of the planetary surface texture issues they seem to suffer from. I would report it as a bug.

It's Frontier answering the question "How will Elite handle larger ships in the future?". That is a new type space station with a larger docking port. It's closed for refurbishment at the moment.

I get this all the time on Radeon R9 290's but I am running WAY old drivers to compensate for the "Radeon's Don't Work in Supercruise" bug.
