Anyone know what text-to-speech engine Galnet now uses?

I've used text-to-speech for years... and the Galnet one is the best I've heard. It's much better than the one on the iPhone. Anyone know what they're using? I had a look for a dll that might show it but I couldn't find anything.

I think Frontier Developments bought out a company that was developing a text-to-speech engine a couple of years back. I don't have the details, but if so, it would be their own proprietary engine.

Ivona Text to speech, the galnet audio thing is a voice synthesizer under the name of Amy (British english), you can probably buy it online for 20-30 €.

Thanks, looks like they've been bought by Amazon. It's part of Amazon's cloud platform now..

Yeah, Ivona Amy is my ships computer through voice attack and EDDI. I think the original A.S.T.R.A used Amy with some effects put on the voice to make it sound like AI
