Anyone notice rocks are gone from ice planets?

Really hope it stays like this, did some Selenium harvesting out in Barnard's Loop, ended up spending 2 hours in a valley playing the Sci Fi version of Colin McRae Rally.

I’ll admit, driving on ice planets is a lot more fun now for me too. That said without the rocks they look less interesting than they did in 3.2.

Ideally I’d love to see the new scatter rock system focus less on the little rocks which wreck the SRV and more on placing large varied rocks which are both easier to dodge yet much more scenic as well. Make the scatter rocks focused more on adding character to the surface and less on adding speed bumps.

Well, if they are working on atmospheres, in addition to weather patterns and phenomena they will also be working on sedimentation, fluid and slurry behaviour, as well as stratigraphy. Distribution of stones and rocks will be one end-member of sediment behaviour.

It's not a simple little thing to implement right (said the soft-rock geologist sagely).

:D S

Personally, I think half the fun of operating an SRV is using its thrusters to skip over the larger rocks to avoid spinning out.
Agreed.
Though on the flip side, I like sound of rock-less ice worlds. It just adds to the variety of SRV environments I can drive in. :)
