Anyone Play X-Wing or Armada (Tabletop Games)?

I was wondering if anyone else out there plays the X-Wing and/or Armada miniature games by Fantasy Flight. As much as I love a good space sim on my computer, I also enjoy taking a good thrashing in analog tabletop games.

I doubt it would ever happen, but some of the ships in ED would be awesome models for either of those two games.

I love Armada, only wish I had more opportunities to play. X-Wing is similar in some ways, but it's a bit quicker and obviously the scale is smaller. It's worth trying out if you like Armada.

I love the miniatures in X-Wing, although I have not played it. If i had a group of friends who were into that and a lot of disposable income, I'd certainly play.

As-is my gaming is typically just my wife and I, so those kinds of games really aren't a good fit.

X-Wing is a two-player game. Granted, I haven't convinced my wife to try it (yet), but I originally bought it so my son and I could get some table time in. I think she'd try it once to humor me, but I doubt it would be a hit.
