Hardware & Technical Anyone Playing E:D on 144hz?

The problem with the Acer IPS is it doesn't support 3D Vision, 4ms is still to slow for it to work properly I think. The nvidia drivers won't detect it as a compatible monitor, so you can't even try it :/

I have an Asus ROG Swift which I bought recently. There are 2 main issues with the screen. First it has very faint vertical lines trailing moving objects caused by pixel inversion (you might not notice this as other monitors do it too and you might just be used to it). Second is the viewing angle issue you get on ALL TN screens, being 27" you notice it a lot more, especially on the desktop.

Considering I'm blind in one eye, 3D anything has never appealed to me. And I can't speak as to why it doesn't support it, but from the reviews I've read, the XB270HU actually has lower latency and input lag than most 1ms monitors.

I've just bought the LG 24GM77 monitor with a TN panel (http://www.tomshardware.co.uk/lg-24gm77-gaming-monitor,review-33157.html). What's weird is that I've gone from getting 60fps almost constantly to 48-55fps. One second its at 48 then a few seconds later at 55 (just sat at the main menu). It's fresh out the box today so I may have some tweaking to do. I've set the refresh rate in-game and within Windows to 144Mhz but haven't checked the NVidia control panel yet. It's hooked up to a single GTX770 card. Don't get me wrong I'm still more than happy with the performance but just a bit weird how the fps has dropped a little!

UPDATE: Scratch the above....I've been playing in borderless mode for ages, even on my old monitor and after having switched to full screen, the fps is showing 144fps!! Nice!
