Anyone running an Engineers Agency?

So how about it?

The game has stopped being "Play your own way" and is becoming "Play your own way once on the other side of the Engineering wall"
I can't stand them, don't get enough time on the game to get on the treadmill and my interest is rapidly dropping off because of it.

So maybe there's somebody with a lot of spare play time and all the requisite experience who wants to earn a few extra quid?
I'll supply my login details, A-rate a couple of likely candidates and get you to do your magic for a mutally agreed remuneration.

Half the money upfront and the other half after I've checked the ships are pukka and I'm not suddenly the most wanted commander in the galaxy.

Nice bit of business for the right person.

I suspect that anyone participating in this might well be in breach of the Elite Dangerous EULA. See in particular clause 3b, which does not permit anyone to "loan" or "exploit for profit or gain" the game. Such things may go on anyway, but trying to arrange them on Frontiers own website seems inadvisable.

It was a conscious decision to add a different kind of currency for the engineers, upgrades being part of a process instead of simple goals, underlining that the game does not have an end. I liked the possibility of sidegrades which is undermined a bit by the changes that every upgrade has to be better, a concession to the incredible difference between standard and engineered ships as well as players wanting to fight only in the most powerful ships. The guardian modules and human experimental stuff are an interesting alternative, I hope that idea gets expanded.

Bloody red tape eh?

Seems like a victimless crime though, the money wouldn't otherwise be going to FD, and it would keep me playing and so buying further releases.

To rehash the old arguments, it depends on how much time you can give the game. All the stuff I used to enjoy in the odd couple of hours I could play are now pointless in a non-engineered ship. It just means I will stop playing so paying someone else to do it for me seems a fair bet. Even if Stigbob gleefully wiped my commander I'd be giving him up anyway!
