Anyone seen / do this mission before

In my game last night, right before logging off, I received a kill mission for 64 bounty hunters for 4.6M Cr. Has anyone done this type of mission before? I didn't take it, as I want to know more about this mission type. I'm currently in an empire system, but, the mission was for / against a Fed system. Both systems are on the boarders of Empire/Fed space, so there is constant skirmishes going on.

I had one recently where I had to kill 72 pirates for 4.18 mil. Took me some time to do because there wasn't a compromised nav beacon or RES in the systems. I had to interdict and go to USSs. Total payout was pretty good, since the bounties were higher than the mission payout.

I've seen kill quota missions of all kinds before, but this is the first time i've heard of one for bounty hunters.

I'm not even sure how you would know other than scanning the sub systems and looking for a KWS.

It does what it says on the tin.

I've done hundreds of this type, but usually only pirates because you will almost certainly become wanted and that may be tedious if it happens after your first kill..over 70k per ship is ok (plus possible bounties), but I use the benchmark of 50k for pirate kill missions, so 20k more isn't much for the added difficulties of killing clean targets, especially when you factor-in guaranteed bounties on pirates.
.
I only accept illegal kill missions in designated systems around my home system for convenience - it is easy to operate when wanted, I go about my business normally, but you need fast docking skills and to be aware of situations that can get difficult.
.
If the system is an anarchy - forget all of the above...but that is unlikely, so if it has a CNB or HazRES this will help; normal RES will be off limits coz of your inevitable wanted status and USS etc may become problematic when the cops turn up.

I'm doing one of these now, would be ok if the system had a resource zone but it erm....doesn't. I'm just sitting here on the internet responding to the intermittent "scan detected" notifications, not very exciting.

I've done 35 for 1 Million before.

Yeah, it was super tedious after awhile. Takes far less time to earn 1 Mil in a RES.

Bounty Hunters tend to operate in nav beacons and RESs, and will scan you to check for bounties. That's probably the easiest way to identify them. However, finding and killing 64 of them seems like a very long-winded exercise.

At least if you go for a mission like that with Pirates or Smugglers as the target, you'll be earning bounty claims on the side.
