Anyone seen my system?

So is it a thing that you can find a system on the galaxy map, write it down as it's >1000ly from me, then later on type it into the search box and it isn't found?

yes, can happen. See my exploration post (klick me) - The system showed up, but not as its common name, but as Henry Draper name i.e. not Kappa-2 Sculptoris but HD 720
.

I've been starting to be able to search and find my far-off systems again after having been broken for a while. Sometimes I have to tap on the Go arrow a few times before it moves, but just not too long ago it was totally broken. Make sure you enter it in exactly right.
