Anyone seen this before?

Probably nothing new but was very cool when it happened.

I was getting fuel and had opened a panel to look at something. When I looked back my ship had been engulfed by that cloud. All I could see out the window was the red and black swirling mass. I panicked at first thinking I had bumped the stick and was nose diving into the star but turning the ship changed nothing! a moment later the cloud began to move away from the ship and the sense to capture an image finally caught up with me. Only a few moments after the image the cloud drifted off and dissipated into nothingness.

I think it was just a gaseous cloud from an eruption on the star but a friend said they've never seen it before so I thought I'd check in here. :)

Just a little coronal mass ejection. Stars do it all the time. It's nothing to be embarrassed about, it's perfectly natural.
