Anyone still CQC these days?

Aside from my overwhelming need to acquire the final obtainable permit being the CQC Home System... Does anyone still play CQC? Just for fun as a break from the main game?

Granted CQC has its flaws, but it be nice seeing this mode populated again despite how little it has to offer.

All it needed was decent payouts. It's such a shame it was left to rot.
I don't play Elite much at all at the minute, not until we get Odyssey anyway.
I'll happily load CQC if anyone sees me online and sends me a request though

I've had very little success in getting matches on Xbone CQC. Either I check at the wrong time of day or it's dead as the dodo.

We were doing weekly events for awhile, but it petered out.

A7EX recently hosted an event, and I believe ROTV has gatherings from time to time.

I pop in roughly 6-8pm my time (UK Player) and hang about in all modes for like 10-15 mins a piece (Yes i know, its sad the dedication of waiting a losing battle for players XD) to see if anyone shows up.

Shame Deathmatch is the popular one, TDM or CTF needs players. MOOOAARRR EXXXPPEEEEEE. ahem , more exp to level up.

mid day on the weekends are the "peak" playtimes. if you can even call 2 or 3 people a "peak". its enough that you can somewhat reliably get matches on TDM and FFA. capture the flag is a different matter. in my 4 years of playing this game i have completed a whopping 3 matches of it. Youll have to organize a boosting party if you want to make any progress with that.

I do on Xbox every now and then but the same commander beats me to nil every time I do! (same on pc but there are many more players and they’re better than me too).

Yeah I've had matches like that. Sometimes the rng gives you the finger and pairs you up with 1V3. If you back out and come back it might reset it.

I try to host CQC sometimes, I even have a little chatgroup on Xbox. I am mostly online around European day and evening times. Message me on Xbox, if someone is insterested.
