Anyone that was feeling sick in DK2 when in SRV now not feeling sick when using CV1 ???

As per title. Just want to know as I feel very very sick after a small amount of time driving around in the SRV. My CV1 will be arriving soon so just wanted to know if that had improved for people that were experiencing nausea with the DK2. Cheers.

Not sure if this is useful or not, since when I had DK2 there weren't SRVs in the game yet. But I'm susceptible to VR sickness in some apps, and excessive rolling/yawing in ED. When I tried ED in CV1 I turned on the two SRV comfort options for VR in settings. So far I feel completely normal riding around on bumpy planets, going up and down steep hills, using SRV thrusters, drifting and sliding. YMMV

Everyone seems to be different in this regard. There is some evidence that you can improve with time and repeated exposures. Like you might get used to a rollercoaster ride by going on it every day.

I've read that the option to fix the horizon makes a big difference. As does simply driving more sedately (but where's the fun in that?).

Come to think of it, that's why they cut the promo video short... *ship lands, dust settles... SRV blasts out of the ships belly and swerves towards the camera *fade to black*.
What they didn't show is the SRV driver hurling moments afterwards! :D

I was feeling a little queasy in the CV1 with my 970 then I noticed everything was on ultra with supersampling on so I ...dialed it down just a tad. Sickness gone! Only took me a month to figure out it wasn't the USB 3.0 sockets.

Horizon lock helps a great deal for me. It takes a lot longer for me to feel motion sick but still kind of feel it after a while.

Horizon lock is just a good thing to have on regardless of if you are feeling sick or not. I had no real issues with the SRV in Rift CV1, but turning Horizon lock on has given me a far better sense of the terrain, and actually makes me feel MORE present on each planet rather than less (except for when I do a front or back flip, but you don't really have a reason to be flipping anyways).
