Anyone tried AboutFace VR covers?

I was looking to purchase those but
i went with http://vrcover.com/product/vr-cover/ instead because they require no mods on the Dk2 (removal of foam/glue, re glue new one..fuuuck that)
you get 3 for 20$ and totally washable. They are silky soft on my delicate face.

I have these too, and they are really nice. The foam stuff the rift uses would irritate my skin a bit, just taking it on and off alot. These covers are really nice and i'v yet to have any itchy skin from them.
The only issue i had when i first got them, was i thought they were too small for my rift. After getting the lower cheek corners tucked in, the forehead part of the cover wasn't even close to wrapping onto my rift. After some tugging and tightening onto the rift though, it all fit quite nicely.
Best $20 i'v spend for my rift.
haha i was kidding about my skin, but ya they are butter soft and nice.
did you wash yours first? i washed mine first and had to pull em a bit to get back to shape and fit.
it says "wont shrink in wash" but mine did just enough to scare me.
but in the end no issue, they work perfect, look great and feel great.

I already have VR covers - and they have had extensive use and now they are getting tighter and tighter to fit.

I did wash all 3 of mine as soon as i got them. Figured it might help soften them up. And yes, they were a very tight fit at first. Now they are just dandy.
My biggest problem was when i was working in Unreal Engine. I would take my rift on and off and on and off. That soft foamy stuff doesn't seem very abrasive, but after about the 30th time, my forhead was getting all red and itchy. That hasn't been a problem since i got these covers. So, no turning back for me. Im sold.
Good, I was hoping I wasn't the only one who's face is irritated by the rift's foam. It doesn't really irritate it, as much as it makes my face itch, even places that doesn't even seem to come in contact with it.. like right around my nose, etc.
I just bought the VR covers... I hope it improves my experience.

Just bought a set of grey from http://vrcover.com/product/vr-cover/, cost me $35 though since I'm in Australia.

The VR Cover is much better than the DK2 foam.

Wait, the About face products are shipping now? I sent them an email 2 weeks ago about release dates because their site said it was in pre-order stages.... Grrr... They never got back to me...
The foam on my rift makes me break out a tad, which is highly annoying. So I will be looking at buying these. Even if I am annoyed they never responded.

I have heard this as well.I backed these guys on Kickstarter and still haven't recieved my covers
I also hear im not the only one.
I've got my AF kit. I love it. I can play a long session of E: D with no 'Rift Ring' on my face at all afterward.

I paid and never recieved an email to confirm payment had been received, PayPal shows it was though.

It will! The foam might be ok for dev work but for serious gaming it is horrible.
