Anyone tried the new windows creator update game mode?

Anyone that got the win10 creators update, have you tried playing ED in VR with game mode on?
Any fps improvement? Personnaly I get no noticeable fps improvement and on top of that I get tracking grey out often with the game mode on.

My understanding of this it is that it may help free resources on resources starving systems. Also, for the moment being it just works for selected titles from win store. Basically useless on a powerful machine and for titles that are not being optimized for it by Microsoft. Useless in ED unless you run it on a laptop with barely enough capability to run the game
