Anyone use keyboard for controls?

When I played Elite on the beeb, or any game for that matter, I always used keyboard instead of Joystick.

Anyone else do this? Is it possible with this version or have the controls advanced too much to make it feasible.

I'm still trying to get to grips with setting the controls up! That'a game in itself!

Nah, I use a Logitech Dual action gamepad and quite liking it.

I've been playing pure keyboard and it#s very good. I've done a quick start guide and keyboard layout with a PDF you can download adn some tips. There's a link in my signature.

I'll be updating the controls for beta very shortly.

You're welcome. You'll need to scrap the keys that come as standard and bind the ones in the PDF. Have fun

yes, hahaha... i use keyboard and mouse and i think its the best way apart from having a thrustmaster flight stick which im saving up for, cos i have never needed one untill i played this PHAT game
