Anyone using a Razer Orbweaver or similar ?

Hi, I currently have a Saitek 52 Pro but still have a few keys mapped tot he keyboard. I just picked up a Razer Orbweaver and wondered how others have setup the Orbweaver ??

altho i havent changed anything in the settings, so it just acts like a part of a keyboard.

I don't use it in this game because of the HOTAS but I use the Nostromo N52TE from Belkin (made by Razor) in FPS shooters. Really love it.

I use a Logitech G13. Most of the keyboard is mapped to the keys, thumbstick is for free look. Lots of other stuff mapped to my thrustmaster 16000

I'd get one if I had room, but alas, my desk is tiny and after my flight stick, no room. Am I missing out?

I use the similar G-13 in place of a Throttle along with a flight stick. I recently bought a HOTAS X and had to put it back in the box. There just wasn't enough buttons. The G-13 does an excellent job as a Throttle control.

I use Orbweaver with HOTAS X and I'm loving the combo. HOTAS X really needs those extra buttons! Shifting hand from throttle to Orbweaver becomes second nature, even with VR.

Have you considered just passing the Throttle over for the Orbweaver? I have found a pretty nice organization to eliminate the shifting if you'd be interested.

Thanks, but I bought HOTAS X after orbweaver. I'm immersion guy and I like analog throttle control too much. I don't mind shifting my hand at all, it only adds "hands on" feel of the space craft control

Another vote for the G13. Sits between the stick and the throttle and means I don't need to touch the keyboard.

An Orbweaver is £130

Is it really worth it for ED? I might look at when I get the Rift.
