Isn't there like voice-Chat functionality built into the game? ...mmh, why would you need a 3rd party program (=> don't shoot me dead => I have -no- experience With voice-chat-programs, I'm just curious)
The in-game comms system is painful to use unless you are in the same system and instance as the person you are trying to talk with.
It is entirely based on luck as to whether or not comms will work. I think it has something to do with which server you are in, which you can't really directly control. It makes us explorers unable to chat with friends in-game, which makes me sad.
