Hi guys. Im pretty new to the game and Im doing Hi Res bounty hunting to earn cash. Ive got a decent grasp of the game and can handle myself pretty good considering Ive been playing only about a week. I have an upgraded Cobra MkIII and Im llooking for someone to fly with. My name is HONEYBADGER33 in game. If anyone would like to play please let me know. I have discord downloaded but a little unsure how to use it at the moment so I may need to be walked through hooking up with anyone. Id love to make some friends and fly with you so if youre interested let me know and we can get out there and run missions or anything to make some credits. Thanks

I don't fly open, and am not very good at this multi-player stuff. Supposedly you can create a PG just for yourself and others to go play in, but I don't know anything about that either.

Thanks wrmiller. Ill post there as well. I have never tried multi and rarely even come across any other commanders in game for some reason. LOL. Im hoping that getting a game going isnt too aggravating. Ive had the game since it launched but just getting back into it again. I played for only an hour or two when it came out and stopped messing with it due to how difficult it was to set up the controller then. Now its simple and I wish I had stuck with it.
I play in Mobius_PvE and see folks from time to time, most of them at the more important systems, like those that have rares, and Founders World which is where I hang my hat.
I've been playing since last Christmas when I received the game as a present. Wasn't going to install it at first as I thought it was strictly a MMO-type game, but then realized that I could play Solo as well. Then I discovered Mobius and mostly play in that now.

I usually fly in Möbius. As i recently spend time in a FGS, which carries fighters, i often when in a RES open the ship up for multiplayer.
If you find me available, feel free to join. This weekend i hang around at the CG in the Pleiades. For a beginner in a beginner ship, getting there is a long voyage, but by the multicrew functionality you can join any time. (Of course, MC doesn't give contribution to the CG, but it still can be nice money. )

Ive only been playing about a week so still really new. What is Mobius? That may be a stupid question but I seriously dont know. LOL

- Anaconda - if you don't want to even get a shot in.
- Python - that can outrun most ships. And is well armed.
- Unarmed Python - not particularly useful in combat! But can carry your luggage.
- FDL - currently in Maia awaiting Engineering, so likely won't be available.
- Imperial Clipper - that's completely useless, please don't ask me to fly it.
- Imperial Courier - that can outrun all ships, but has no weapons!
- Diamondback Scout - Setup exactly how I had it when I was new. Only it's modified now.
- Or I can purchase any other small ship and outfit it.

Mobius, and Mobius_PvE are protected groups (PGs) that allow players to interact without having to worry about getting slammed by someone just interested it blowing up other player's ships. In Mobius, player-on-player (PvP) is only acceptable in conflict zones (CZs).
Open isn't that bad, according to some, if you stay away from the important areas. But to me, that kinda takes away from even playing the game? Anyway, there are lots of different ways to play/enjoy the game. You will find yours I'm sure.

Yeah Its me Cosmicspacehead! LOL. When we fly you can fly any ship you want. Im flying a Cobra MKIII right now. Hoping to upgrade the weapons some more or even a new ship once i get the credits. I have a Viper MkIII as well. Thanks for all the info guys. Oh Noctover Im on PC. I always forget to mention that because Im typing on the PC at the time LOL

How long does it usually take to get accepted in the Mobius groups? I searched and sent a request to join so maybe I can get in before long

I'll either bring my Anaconda Pancake IV, it's named that for a reason, so don't be in its way when it's moving*.
It'll also help increase the chances of spawning larger ships, in theory.
Combined with my Deadly combat rank, I should be able to keep things exciting and profitable for you. And easily apply much agro in the event you get in over your head.
Its Pancake IV is because it's been destroyed by stations for flattening ships and skimmers.

Hey guys I just thought of something. How about I start up a group for us to fly in? We could meet up that way when we are going to fly together. Also what do you guys use to voice communitcation? I have Discord installed but I havent had the chance to use it and test my mic yet. Let me know what you guys use and I will download it and set it up

Welcome to elite...thats the pleasantries out the way, now down to business. There really are easier ways to go about meeting other players...Id suggest browsing through the sub forums where a great many groups and organisations attempt to sell themselves to the fresh meat.
