Got some new torps for my Corvette (2 medium reverb mounts) and need to see what they can do against the shields of one of the "big three" ships.

Anyone willin to help me out?

If you only have 4 most people are running Thermal resist generators. You don't have enough to take a Vettes shield generator down.

Two medium reverb torpedoes will not be able to shut down shield generators on most of the "Big 3" NPCs.

So I suppose I should switch my 2 small torps from penetrator to more reverbs?

For your intentions the Corvette is not the best platform - wrong hardpoints and way too slow.

Look at the Cutter - 4x medium hardpoint's.

Now you have room for 6 total Reverb Torps and you can fit FSD Disruptor missiles. Plus 2x Large and one Huge hardpoints for killing.

Actually on the Corvette you could have FSD Disruptor missiles on the bottom C3. I forgot about that hardpoint completely.

2x medium Reverb
1x small Reverb
1x corrosive Multi
2x Huge for killing

The Corvette is still to slow to stop someone High-Waking.

Too slow to get the necessary distance from the target to arm the Reverbs as well.

I mean for someone aware.. Then you wouldn't be testing the torpedoes no? It's not like this is a new experimental effect or anything.

I was helpful. I told you EXACTLY what would happen. You choose to dismiss it as not good enough. I mean if you want to waste your time go for it...
