Dialogue: All you need is a keyboard and a couple brain cells. Give us somewhere to submit lines and we will blow your tasty cargo nonsense out of the water. Any amount of creativity will add to the current amount of 0 that went into these originally. Don't get me started on those barges. 2nd rate hack, done before lunch work. That is all I can politely say about it. We could change that. Just let us.

Voice: Didn't they round up their families to do this? Or was it all just done in one day of voice work? Whatever the case it's shoddy and needs variations. Oh geez just look at all these players with Mics and free recording softwares. Whatever shall they do? You don't even need to worry about quality because you will just add a distortion filter over it anyways. Win Win.

Paint Jobs and Decals: This might take a bit more legwork from them but once it is going we could be slinging up masterpieces and anime waifu plastered garbage alike by the dozens. There are a lot more problematic hurdles to community paintjobs and decals but I do believe that if they put their heads together that they can do it.

So please let us do it. So that we can do it better.

You'd think crowdsourcing audio would be pretty easy, considering how much cheaper the equipment has gotten. Then you start a project, put out the call, and dig through the PILES OF ABSOLUTE GARBAGE you get sent.

Turns out pros tend to be needed for that for a reason! Sturgeon's Law strikes again.

Timing would be nice to enhance as well.

After the material entrails are littered all over the local neighborhood of the pirate we were sent to terminate...more than a few seconds after too, do we get the text comm --mayday! mayday!, can someone please help us!....even though there's no one around and they themselves leaned in to help remove! Not even a thanks CMDR!

Done before lunch you say...id bet this was done on an old laptop on the bus going home!

300 employees, more hired for the PS4, years in development and updates...and the big issue is pirate quotes? I don't think so. Just another negative thread of dozens the OP often does to stir up the pot. That's his thing so whatever floats your boat...

Sorry Punished Moebius (I love that name), no luck this time, wrong place to ask...

I've seen community projects with greater effort than big studios could have made! Design, video and audio wise. It's wrong to say only FD can do this or that (or any other game studio); there are many talented amateurs out there and when/with passion made could truely trump existing work from the studio!
Look some famous Skyrim Mods (with new landscapes, storylines, characters, audio (quest full audio spoken etc etc))... and this only as an example.

I've never seen a Skyrim mod with really good audio. Which ones have I missed? It's always the weak link and instantly IDs mod content when you hear that bad audio quality, bad acting, and total lack of direction.

I haven't tried TCs like Enderal yet of course which look promising, but I've sampled most of the add-on lands and quests, and... oof.
